Hampton Inn Williamsburg VA- Great Inn, but Too Overcrowded
I went to theHampton Inn in Williamsburg VA during the Spring Break weekend, and boy was it filled with people. On one hand, that’s great news because it shows that visitors really enjoy staying in the inn. On the other hand, it means the place is overcrowded and filled with families and noisy children. I got my reservation together with free motel specials.As it was the peak season, the front desk line was a bit too long for me, although the hotel staff was very polite, and I was handed a map of showing all the places to visit nearby.
The room they put me in was more than big enough for me (but not for the big families), and it had all the usual amenities such as the refrigerator and microwave oven. A huge plus, was the flat-screen HD television I had in there.
That night, I swam a bit in the clean but tiny swimming pool. I tried waiting for the Jacuzzi, but there were just too many people. It was the same old story during breakfast time, where the food was good, but the atmosphere was similar to a school cafeteria.

The next day, I put the map to good use by dropping by some of the places indicated on it. I paid a visit to the Colonial Williamsburg Visitor Center and had and enjoyed the shows and rides in Bush Gardens.Overall, I enjoyed my stay in this inn. The service and amenities here are excellent, and it can be enjoyed to its fullest when it isn’t peak season. I would definitely come here again and of course, i'll bring budget motel coupons.
